The Business world is witnessing a tidal shift in the IT sector with the growth in adoption of cloud computing. Companies at present are moving aggressively to adopt cloud computing with competitive advantage through increased business customization. Cloud computing has been enabling innovation for a growing number of organizations. Many companies are facing the challenge of utilizing cloud to maximum level to leverage the present Cloud capabilities as a part of their innovation. Numbers of organizations are taking steps to move from a traditional cloud server or computer room operation to cloud operation.

The first step usually taken is virtualization. Virtualization itself opens the opportunity to consolidate systems to save things like infrastructure cost, electricity to name a few. Moving the virtualization to the cloud provides the ability to significantly expand IT sectors because cloud enables to regulate the usage of computers and its resources. It also provides ease to the companies for adding applications to the environment without requiring an advanced level of IT support. Companies tend to make transition from virtualization followed up by the cloud.

Developments made in the cloud services have resulted in increase of the adoptions. Moving applications to the cloud is risky and complex as deployments and ongoing management is labor intensive and high SLAs just can’t be achieved. With this advancement made in the cloud, companies have to decide which application they want to move into the cloud environment. This cultivates the need of enhanced solutions with the availability level including continuous availability and efficient workload management for cloud applications. The hybrid cloud represents the future of enterprise workload management.

Privacy remains a priority when creating an open market data trading model for the exchange of data. Data security is one of the factors that limit the adoption of the cloud. Organizations are making approach to adopt private cloud which allows them to have full control over data and data access. The key is predicting which application would play in this cloud environment. The private and hybrid OpenStack based cloud solution provides multiple availability levels and intelligently and dynamically matches availability levels and infrastructure resources to applications transparently. One can maximize ROI with one cloud solution for all applications. Automated deployment and management saves time and money reducing new deployments from days to minutes.

The level of cloud literacy has grown dramatically over few years as people are adopting and learning technologies. The time taken to move an application into the cloud is definitely more challenging. Moreover, moving legacy applications into the cloud environment limits the adoption of cloud. It’s easy to adopt new application than to move legacy application over the cloud. Moving mission critical applications and business critical applications into the cloud would also play an effective role effectively.

Adopting virtualization an underway process in India
Indian organizations are approaching inbuilt virtualization capabilities products. When an organization chooses a good enough availability solution, it often leads to greater complexity and additional hardware costs as the company moves forward. They need a simpler solution allowing businesses to have a “set it and forget it” mentality. The solutions offered, help them to achieve and sustain availability of the applications and systems that support the most critical business operations.

There are relatively small numbers of vendors that affects ability of a company to implement virtualization technologies. To meet this scarcity companies need to bring out large number of vendors to help in implementing virtualization technologies. Additionally, there are customers who work themselves taking up new ideas and ways to move. The risks customers want to take and interlocutor capabilities they have in their organizations matter. Security and protection come into play while moving an application from company’s firewall to public forums into the cloud. Thus, virtualization is done inside firewall security which ensures security and operability in web applications capabilities of a company.

Over the time benefits of virtualization environment will outweigh the traditional approaches of the organizations. Cloud computing is all set to overtake traditional on premise solutions in IT spending and will surpass the market valuation for cloud computing. This objectively depends upon the ease offered by the solutions in movement as well as requires skill and new business module.
